New resolution calls for release of Dansville man from the Taliban

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Lawmakers introduced a resolution calling for the Taliban to release a man from Western New York from detainment.

Ryan Corbett of Dansville lived in Afghanistan for 11 years until the Taliban returned to power. He went back to Afghanistan in 2022 to pay and hold training at a business he started. He was detained and remains there to this day.
